WIP work in progress.  One of my favorite parts of the process is painting the background color around the head.  

Often I do this upside down.  Habit, but it is also a great way to see the painting in a new way.  Flaws show and then can be fixed afterwards.

What has she been doing?  Well this is it - I'm working on 3 large beach scenes - 24x36.  This is one of them.  A work-in-progress but it's close!

my new thing to do is use paper plates as palettes!  so portable!!

paint spatter in the tea...I have to remember to keep my drinks BEHIND me!!
