Instagram and my iphone camera as much as the next gal but nothing compares to slowing down and really taking in a view like drawing or painting in a sketchbook. Less of a commitment than setting up an easel and paints for a plein air session, whipping out a drawing in a sketchbook has a charm all it's own.
