My boys - big. Big- because our youngest is about to turn 10! (10,12 and 14 ) AND this is a 'big' painting for me...2 feet x 2 feet!! very fun, hope to do more when time allows. The cropped version is better - more interesting composition, think I'll paint it again...

tally think that they look better with more space around them, but that's just my opinion :)
I like the larger version- something about the horizon and the scale makes the boys look almost swallowed up-youthful. But do it again-keep painting those frolicking beach lovers. I love those shoulder blades- they look like my sons too.
