6x6" oil on masoniteI love vintage cards and have a bunch. Recently my mother gave me a few more and one little cutie inspired this painting. I had big dreams of doing a different painting of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Two Turtle Doves might be as far as I get. I pretty much crossed this project right off my holiday 2do list...what was I thinking???

I am glad to hear I'm not the only one with big December ideas that can't possibly be realized!:) I've been enjoying seeing these snowy holiday paintings, love the strong contrast on this one, really a stand out.

Yeah, JOIN THE CLUB, girl!!!! I actually started early in August and painted a painting for my holiday card, got it printed, and ...do you think I've SENT them even? I put them away when I was cleaning for Thanksgiving, and haven't seen them since!
But I love how you're still turning out the paintings, and they're so sweet and full of heart!
