Fruits of Summer

These blackberries are a happy result of a garden gone seriously to weeds! Weve got tons of them. :-) This happens to be one of those paintings that I just love.

I love this one, too! Beautiful, lively color! It evokes a real summer-in-the-country feeling for me.

I really like how you let the background color show through along the edges of the leave and berries ... nice and painterly!
